Lynn's Craft Shop and Art Gallery is a must while visiting along the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island.
Situated in Ingonish, the Craft Shop and Art Gallery overlooks a majestic view of North Bay, Middle Head Peninsula and Cape Smokey Mountain.
Pottery,cutting boards, knitted accessories, jewellery, wood turnings, soaps and preserves are just a few of the many interesting crafts created by selected local and Maritime crafts-people. Along with our wide range of handcrafts are the beautiful watercolour, oil paintings and fine are reproductions by well known Nova Scotian artist Christopher Gorey. Mr. Gorey has won numerous awards and was the designer of the 1981 and 1987 commemorative silver dollars. Mr. Gorey is an elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour CSPWC and La canadienne society de l’aquarelle SCA.
Owned and operated by Lynn and Chris Gorey since 1979, the store is listed in Off the Beaten Path, The Maritime Provinces - A Guide to Unique Places as well as A Traveller's Guide to Cape Breton. Over the years, Lynn's Craft Shop and Art Gallery has earned a reputation for offering quality products and friendly service. So when in Ingonish, drop in; you won't be disappointed.
The Book Nook is a relatively new addition to our store. It includes many new Maritime titles, children’s books as well as a selection of used books for all ages .
